Often, new participants in our program are required to share a bedroom with another participant, though this will change as our participants 'graduate', causing the others to advance in seniority within the house. Most of our house managers have been participants in our program for a period of time before taking over as managers. They are familiar with both the 12-step program and ours, and offer support and guidance to those participants new to the sober community, promoting healthy interactions and dynamics within the house.
Each of our houses is furnished, with fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities on site. The participant is provided with a bed and dresser, but must provide their own bedding, clothing, food and toiletries. Local phone service is provided, but long distance calls require the participant to purchase calling cards.
